Product Details

If you want longevity in a lubricant but want the ingredients and feel to be mostly water-based, a hybrid lube is a great option!  Hybrid lubricants use mostly water based lube and then add just a bit of a longer lasting lubricant.  In this case, Jo has added just a bit of coconut oil to their popular water-based lubricant.  It’s got a creamy, non-drippy texture that stays with you in a way no other water-based lube can.  And clean up is easy too.  Just like a water-based lube, this one will eventually sink into your body, the coconut oil moisturizing as it goes.

You would like this lube if you want a long lasting, creamy feeling lube with a coconutty smell.
You would not like this lube if you need a lube that is safe to use with latex or polyisoprene condoms, or one that specifically tastes good.

Our reviewer said, “It had the nice, super creamy feel of a water-silicone hybrid, but wasn't as stringy, which I loved.  It also stuck around for a respectable amount of time and didn't get sticky, ftw!”

Care and Upkeep:
Oil based lubricant is not safe for use with latex because it will break it down.  Similarly, our current research shows that it may also do this with polyisoprene (but not polyurethane) although the company that makes this lube says it is safe to use with polyisoprene.  So, don’t use it with latex condoms, dental dams, or scroguards for sure.  If you’re not concerned about breakage, you can try it with barriers made of other ingredients.  Oil can stain sheets and other fabric.
