We were trying to think of how to describe this toy, and then our reviewer came up with this gem: “Remember that game Barrel of Monkeys? Remember the little plastic barrel the monkeys came in? Imagine that barrel, but with a top as well as bottom part that unscrews and filled with soft fleshlight-y goodness instead of monkeys.”
Yes, that’s pretty apt. The Fastener has a plastic ring, and inside it, a body non-specific, open-ended material from fleshlight that’s textured -as you’d expect from a penis sleeve. What’s nice about the hard plastic is that it gives you something definitive to hold onto and press against, while the soft material inside cushions you.
You would like this toy if you like open ended sleeves and want one with a high quality rubber.
You would not like this toy if you prefer an opening that’s shaped specifically like a certain body opening.
Our reviewer also said, “I was unsure if I would enjoy this one because of the open-ended design. Every masturbation sleeve I've used up until now has had a closed end, and that part has been key to my enjoyment because I need to have my head stimulated. But it turns out that with the right kind of wrist movement this toy is equally, if not more enjoyable compared to my other sleeves. The rubber feels so damn good. It has the best material of any sleeve I've ever used. It's super soft and squishy and the hard plastic ring gives it a nice boundary to push against so it doesn't just feel like you're sticking your dick in jello. Its compact size makes it really easy to use, too. I never realized how much more tiring other sleeves are in comparison before using this one.”
Materials: Plastic and phthalate-free jelly rubber
• Insertable length: 3.5”
• Total length: 4.4”
Care and Upkeep:
Gently take the rubber insert out of the plastic casing. Wash both with warm soapy water. Allow them to dry completely. When it’s completely dry you can dust the rubber insert with cornstarch to keep it from being gummy. Reinsert the rubber into the plastic exterior, screw on the end caps to keep it clean, and you’re good to go! Please note that rubber is porous so don’t share this toy with anyone with whom you do not share bodily fluids. Use it with lube! It’s safe to use this toy with any water-based and silicone lubes, although it will probably last longer if you use water-based. For other lubes, you might want to try some on an inconspicuous area first to make sure the material doesn’t puff up.
