These unique cuffs are locally made by hand. They’re fantastic for comfortable restraint, especially for wrists above the head, but they can also be used on ankles and horizontally (if you don’t mind someone being able to wriggle out of them). They provide a wonderfully supportive surface for the hand to hold onto and is anchored to the wrist, which helps avoid them becoming too tight.
How do you use them? Have the person to be bound hold the cuff across their palm with the ring end extending a few inches between the thumb and forefinger. Wrap the other end of the cuff around the wrist one and a half times and up the back of the hand. Slide the lobster claw snap hook through the ring and then connect it to whatever you are restraining your friend.
That's the official way to use them. You can also just wrap them around a wrist, slide the clasp through the ring. They're versatile, maybe you'll come up with something unique!
Materials: Leather, metal
• Length: ~21” (remember, they’re hand made so some variation can occur)
Made in Albuquerque, NM
Care and Upkeep:
Metal can be wiped with alcohol or a damp, soapy cloth. Leather is porous and can react poorly when exposed to water. It’s ok to clean your leather occasionally with a cloth dampened with warm, soapy water followed by a damp cloth to remove the soap. Air dry. You may also consider a commercial leather conditioner to keep your leather soft.
