A major part of Self Serve’s mission is to educate our customers and the public about sexual health and about the products we sell. We do this through our toy parties and full-service workshops, as described below.

Toy Parties

A Self Serve toy party makes a great bachelorette party, birthday party, or girls' night out. Our two-hour event can be customized to cover hot topics like the G-Spot, Sex Toys 101, Body Treat Tasting, Toys for Your Boy, or whatever whets your palate. Self Serve provides an educational and fun sex toy party experience, presenting and explaining toys, lubes, resources and sex tips. Unlike most toy party companies, earning a commission is not on our agenda. There are always games and give-aways, but no pressure for you to buy. Full-Service Workshops

Our full-service workshops are customized, educational events for your group such as LGBT groups, nonprofit organizations and university student groups. We can provide a one-hour full-service workshop with a focus on gay, lesbian, transgender or queer perspectives; applications of sex toys for medical use; sexuality for health care providers; Intersex 101; Packing for Wear & Play; vulvovaginal health; and many other topics. Our goal is to contribute relevant sexual health information to your staff or organizational members. Product sales are optional at our full-service workshops. Event Pricing

A credit card on file to book reservation
48 hours notice or more for any change or cancellation.
Any cancellations within 48 hours of event are subject to $50 cancellation fee. Thanks for your understanding.

Tips for Planning a Smooth Toy Party & What to Expect

Planning an in store party at Self Serve?

Party times are available outside store business hours. Times fill up quickly so book early!
Our business hours are:
Monday-Thursday 12-7 pm
Friday-Saturday 12-8 pm
Sunday 12-6 pm

The fee for the party is $100. If we make sales of $250 or more, then your party is free and you are eligible for hostess rewards! After $250 in sales you receive 10% credit to enjoy yourself!

1. We provide a table for refreshments, chairs for your guests, and a cooler for ice.
2. Please arrive on time and bring whatever you like for a great party. We suggest ice, refreshments, plates, silverware, cups, snacks and anything else you need to serve your drinks and food.
3. If you plan on serving alcohol, we need you to have assigned designated driver(s) to safely get you to your next destination. Anyone drinking should bring an ID. We just want to make sure everyone's safe as the night rolls along...

Planning a party at home?

The fee for an in-home party is $150. If we meet a sales goal of $250 or more, then your party is free and you are eligible for hostess rewards! After $250 in sales you receive 10% credit to enjoy!

What we need for a smooth operation...

1. Good directions to your house- Make sure we have the address and a phone number in case we get lost!
2. A table or other surface to set up samples of toys, lotions and other fun stuff
3 . A room where all guests can be seated comfortably and see the goods on display.

Guests should be present at your party at least 30-45 minutes before the presentation is scheduled to begin. This will ensure that guests have some time to say hello, get a drink, and be ready to learn about sex when the fun begins!

Purchases can be picked up at the store, or you (the hostess) can pick up for all your friends. Additionally we're happy to ship any lovely items at USPS priority rates in, of course, subtle, private packaging.

Tips to help plan a successful party...

1. Let your friends know what to expect. Send them a link to our website (www.selfservetoys.com) in your invite, or talk it up at an earlier gathering.
2. Ask friends to bring potluck style snacks. You shouldn't have to do everything yourself, and food goes great with talkin' about sex!
3. Check in with your guests a few days before to remind them about the event. Ask if there are any special requests, and pass that onto us along the way.
