Care and Upkeep
Metal is sterilizable but the spikes on the Wartenberg wheel are really tiny and close together. Normally, you can wash metal for 3 minutes in warm soapy water or boil it to sterilize, but you might need to scrub a little with something that gets between the spikes to get all the nooks and crannies. These are sharp, so if you break the skin with them, make sure to sterilize it well, or decide that toy simply belongs to person whose blood it was.
