These clamps can be washed with warm water and a gentle soap.  The rubber is porous so can't be sterilized, but the metal can be by doing the above.

We called to ask about it and they said that in lieu of spending many $$$ to test each of their products, they decided to put the CA Prop 65 warning on all of them just in case, but they do not know of any ingredient that would cause harm.

At Self Serve we take your safety seriously and believe these to be body-safe so long as you do not eat them.  And to be fair, chemical queries aside, eating them would not be safe to begin with.  Please don't.
